The Living Room

The Living Room is in the old part of the house dating back to 1757.  It features wide-plank flooring and a cozy fireplace. It is a nice sunny room receiving both the morning and afternoon sunlight.

The room has a 4-K flat-screen Samsung TV with Cable TV service, YouTube TV, Netflix, Tubi. There is an Amazon Dot with Amazon Music that can pair with the Bose speaker. WiFi is available throughout the house. There is a Bluetooth Bose Speaker that connects to the TV and also can be paired with your cell phone or iPad. The WiFi Password in in the Welcome Book in the center hallway.

The console for our on-property Weather Underground Weather Station sits on a table in this room. There is a Tavern Puzzle on the back table if you want a bit of a challenge.  Remove the large Ring. The room has air-conditioning during the summer months.

There is a fireplace that can be used only when the outside temperature is below 45 degrees F. If it is warmer than 45 degrees F, when the fire starts to cool off, smoke will enter the house. We found that out the hard way when we took picks of a roaing fire for marketing in the middle of May. We also supply the firewood and fire starting supplies.  There is additional firewood in the barn. It is a great fireplace and throws quite a bit of heat.
